About the life coaches and mindfulness trainers

This Way Up is run by two experienced life coaches and mindfulness trainers:

Tim Segaller
Tim became a life coach after 13 years' communications and project management experience in the private and voluntary sectors. His coaching aims to combine warmth and sensitivity with robustness and clear insight. His particular strength is in working intuitively with what's alive for people in the moment, helping them to understand themselves better and to work out what they really want from life.

Tim is also a mindfulness trainer, having completed teacher training run by the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at the University of Bangor. Tim maintains a regular mindfulness practice a key factor in being an effective mindfulness trainer.

Tim set up This Way Up at QSA in 2012.

Michele Grant
Michele trained as a life coach after a career in the public sector and then the BBC.  As a coach, Michele specialises in helping people who feel they need to chart a new and different course to the one they are on. She is particularly sensitive to the emotional needs of clients who are going through an experience of transition.  She also specialises in dealing with situations of conflict in life.

Michele is also a mindfulness trainer, having completed teacher training run by the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. Michele maintains a regular mindfulness practice to ensure she is an effective mindfulness trainer.
