At the halfway point in the pageant, all the delegates will adjourn to York Hall to hear 10 stories of inspirational social action; faith communities, charities, unions and hospices. The story of Quaker Social Action will be one of them.
Do any Friends have inspirational or humbling stories of the work QSA (a.k.a the Bedford Institute Association) did in the past, that we might not know about and that they are willing to share?
Also, would any Friends like to join us on the day and learn more about the diverse and rich contributions made by a whole range of groups to building communities, especially in east London? We'd be delighted if our supporters wished to come along. Anyone unable to complete the walk can join us just for the York Hall part, which is, happily, next door to QSA's office. Mince pies and hot teas served!
This is a completely free event, but registration is essential. For further details, please contact me.
