10% campaign
The vital unrestricted income we receive from our supporters makes QSA the creative, independent charity that we are today, ensuring continuity and enabling us to innovate with services likes Knees Up and Made of Money. In May 2011 we launched a campaign to increase the proportion of our funding that comes from the generous gifts of our supporters from 7% to 10%. We aimed to raise £1 million in 2011-12, so this equated to £100,000 in total over the financial year.
Quarterly update: Q1, April - June 2011

At this stage of the year we would have expected £17,500 (7%) in donations, so at £22,846 (9%) we'd made great progress towards our target. There was still a long way to go, but with more heroic efforts from our supporters we could reach it!
Quarterly update: Q2, July - Sept 2011
Thanks to your efforts we'd raised a staggering £40,287 (8%) by the end of September. We've also had a lot of new donors.
Quarterly update: Q3, Oct - Dec 2011
Another successful quarter raised £61,214 (8.2%), but we still needed a huge push in the final few months of the financial year if we were to reach our target.
End of Q4 and the financial year 2011-12
With your help, we raised £88,078 through the 10% campaign this year, giving us 9% of the £1 million target we set in May 2011 to fund our five projects helping people in east London.
A huge thank you and warm welcome our many new donors; we now have over 500 people who are members of the 10% campaign. Please take part in 2012-13, by giving whatever you can. If you would increase your gift to QSA in 2012-13 by £2 per month we will reach our target of £100,000! We'll be working extremely hard to raise another 90 pence for every 10 pence donated by you, so that together we can continue to give people tools to find routes out of poverty.
Please donate and like us on Facebook for updates on the campaign and the rest of our work.
