Quaker Social Action (QSA) has recently changed online donation provider to BT's Mydonate, a free service that doesn't charge any administration costs. Now every penny you give through this service goes directly towards supporting people living in poverty. You can also set up a personal fundraising page for a sponsored event in aid of QSA.

To donate without registering simply click the 'I'm not registered tab' when asked to log in to MyDonate.

If you would rather make a debit or credit card donation over the phone, call Homestore on 020 8519 6264 and let them know you would like to make a financial gift.

Make a regular gift

With a regular gift you can make a lasting impact through Quaker Social Action's work. Download this Standing Order form, complete it and return it to us at the address on the form.

Donations in memory
Sometimes people like to make a donation in memory of a loved one or friend. If you would like to set up a donations page yourself, please use the mydonate link above or contact one of our fundraising team on 020 8983 5037 for support. Alternatively, you can use our dedicated page at https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/inmemory and then contact us to let us know who you have donated in memory of.

CAF card

CAF cards are specialist accounts designed to make it easier for people to give to charity. For more information visit the CAF website at www.cafonline.org

HomeLinkDonate shares

Donating shares is an easy and tax effective way of giving to charity as the donor is not liable for Capital Gains Tax. Visit www.hmrc.gov.uk/individuals/giving/assets.htm for more information.

Payroll giving

Payroll giving allows anyone who pays UK Income Tax to give regularly and tax-free to charities and good causes. Donations are deducted before tax so for each 1 that you donate, the cost to you is only 80p or 60p if you're a higher rate tax payer. You should ask your employer if they allow payroll giving and if they don't, there's a useful guide to setting it up on the HMRC website at www.hmrc.gov.uk/businesses/giving/payroll-giving.htm

None of us will see the end of poverty and social exclusion in our lifetimes.  But you can make a life-changing impact through a gift to Quaker Social Action in your will.  No matter how big or small your contribution, a legacy will mean a lot to the people we work with.  Email us for more information on leaving a legacy to Quaker Social Action or download our information sheet.

Invest in a charitable bond

Quaker Social Action is a member of Allia, a social profit society that facilitates five year bond investments in social housing. You'll receive your investment back when the bond matures, and in the meantime the interest will go straight to Quaker Social Action as a charitable gift, rather than becoming bank profit. For example, if you invest 1,000, QSA will get a donation of around 150, and in five years you'll receive your savings back in full. Find out more at our page on Allia's website.

Other ways that you can help

Everyclick is a charitable search engine and QSA is signed up - if you choose us as your cause you could be benefiting people living in poverty every time you search for something online.

Giveacar is a social enterprise that donates the proceeds from unwanted and scrap cars to charitable causes throughout the world, including QSA. Their UK-wide service is FREE and easy to use:

    They can arrange the collection of your vehicle;

Depending on its age and condition, they will either send it for environmentally safe disposal and recycling at an Authorised Treatment Facility, or to a salvage auction.

They will then give between 40 and 140 to QSA!

To donate a car, visit giveacar.co.uk or call 020 0011 1664, quoting Quaker Social Action as your preferred charity.
