Knees Up Development Worker (18 hours per week; £12,760)
Award-winning charity QSA has worked for 145 years to tackle poverty and social exclusion in east London. We seek an exceptional person with community development experience to make a significant contribution to our Knees Up project.

Knees Up is an exciting and dynamic project which works to connect, inspire and unite neighbours living on deprived east London estates. Using asset-based community development Knees Up brings residents together and helps them to organise their own street party. They identify community connectors and provide support to ignite community action – such as awareness campaigns, befriending and signposting – leading to real and lasting change.

Planning, interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is experience of working with people to realise their potential. You have a passion for working with people, a creative, can-do mindset and the vision and energy to achieve big outcomes within a small team.

To apply, please download a job application pack (PDF), which has application instructions. You will also need an application form, including an equal opportunities monitoring form (Word document)

Deadline: Monday 10 June 2013 at 10am.
